Sverdlovsk Oblast announces 2026 road repair list

Road workers have specified which sections of regional highways will be repaired in 2026. Key works will be under the national project «Infrastructure for Life». Thanks to it, almost 200 kilometers of regional and municipal roads in all administrative districts of Sverdlovsk Oblast will be repaired.

«In December 2025, road workers completed an important project for residents of the Turinsky District — a bridge over the Tatar River. It connects the village of Gorodishche with other settlements. Specialists essentially built a new, safe, and comfortable bridge 30 meters long. This year, we will continue the work. We plan to repair 13 artificial structures and 49 sections of regional roads with a total length of 197.1 km. For this, we will allocate almost 12.5 billion rubles (approximately $125 million at current rates),» said Governor Denis Pasler.

Among the road facilities planned for repair this year are sections of the Serovsky Tract, which provides access to neighboring regions and is part of the national Demidov Route.

Major repairs will continue on sections of the roads Nizhnyaya Salda – Alapayevsk and Nizhniye Sergi – Mikhaylovsk – Arty. They are part of the network of key highways in Sverdlovsk Oblast and are characterized by high traffic.

«Yekaterinburg – Rezh – Alapayevsk (the Rezhevsky Tract) — the »gateway« to the northeast of Sverdlovsk Oblast. Residents of nearby settlements and business representatives have repeatedly raised the issue of road repair. This year, we will carry out work on the section from the 20th to the 27th kilometer and widen the roadway to four lanes. We will repair sections of the road Baykalovo – Turinskaya Sloboda – Turinsk, which is important for ensuring transport accessibility of small settlements,» added the governor.
