SUVs led by Jimny pull truck on icy road

A Suzuki Jimny and Mitsubishi Pajero were caught on video pulling a truck on a slippery road in the First River area of Vladivostok. How it all ended is unknown; commenters suggested that both vehicles would need repairs after such an adventure.

A similar problem befell the snow-clearing equipment itself in the Fregat area. However, it is not reported whether it failed to enter due to the slippery road or a narrow passage. In any case, it also had to be towed.

Anastasia Slobodchikova, a «winter mermaid» from Vladivostok, also showed how even SUVs cannot climb the slope near their home. She said that earlier she almost got hit by a car while trying to help a child climb the slope.

«The worst part was when children were walking in the middle of the descent. A girl fell and couldn«t get up to go. I pulled her by the hand and also fell, and cars were sliding down from above. But in the end we crawled to the wall. We have a rope there. And snowdrifts. I explained to the child that they need to hold the rope and never walk in the middle,» she wrote on her Telegram channel.

Heavy snow began, as forecasters had promised, at 4:00 p.m. From that moment, Vladivostok«s roads came to a standstill: traffic jams instantly gripped the city. Buses fell behind schedule, taxis raised prices, and drivers out of boredom started writing comments in 2GIS. The average travel time was from 1.5 hours; many walked home.
