In Ryazan Oblast, major disruptions to the suburban train schedule have persisted since the evening of January 31. Social media is seeing a wave of complaints from passengers facing delays both for arriving and departing trains.

According to online monitoring services, the situation remains difficult. For instance, the train on the Yasakovo — Ryazan route arrived with a delay of 60–80 minutes. Several trains from Moscow were delayed by 20 minutes or more. Particular dissatisfaction was caused by the Ryazan — Golutvin train scheduled for 20:04: by 21:30, its status in the timetable was still listed as «Awaiting departure». Also, departures of trains to Rybnoye and Gaverdovo from Ryazan-1 station are being delayed.

The cause of the evening disruptions on January 31, according to preliminary information, was heavy snowfall that complicated travel conditions. However, problems on the sections, judging by online reports, continued into the morning of February 1.

Passengers on messengers and social media are sharing details. «The express is stuck between Lagerny station and Ryazan-1. It»s stalled...« writes one Ryazan resident. A similar situation occurred with the Yasakovo — Ryazan train. »We almost reached Listvyanka. The train has stopped for an indefinite time due to uncleared tracks,« complains another passenger.

This is not the first case of serious delays in the region in recent days. On January 29, freezing rain caused a delay of passenger train No. 070/069 Lipetsk — Moscow by about 1 hour 40 minutes, which was forced to stand for a long time at Ryazan-2 station.

No official comments have been received from representatives of Russian Railways (RZhD) or regional authorities regarding the causes of the current large-scale disruptions and the timeline for normalizing the situation.
