Stavropol bus routes set for fare hikes in February

Transport fares are being adjusted again in Stavropol. Prices will rise on several municipal routes as early as the beginning of February 2026. As reported by the city administration, carriers have sent official notifications to the city committee for organizing transport services for the population.
The changes will affect both residential areas and routes connecting the city with medical facilities.
Where and by how much fares will increase
Route No. 19m «Zelenaya Roshcha Boulevard» — «Children»s City Hospital«
from February 4 — 40 rubles (approx. $0.45 at current rates);
Route No. 41 »Diagnostic Center« — »Chekhov Street«
from February 6 — 50 rubles (approx. $0.56 at current rates);
Route No. 88 »Magnit Hypermarket« — »Diagnostic Center«
from February 6 — 50 rubles (approx. $0.56 at current rates);
Route No. 47 »Chekhov Street« — »ZHK Beliy Gorod (White City residential complex)«
from February 6 — 50 rubles (approx. $0.56 at current rates).
Why fares are rising again
As carriers explain, these are unregulated tariffs. They apply to the majority of city routes: the fare is set by the carrier itself, and according to federal legislation, authorities have no right to intervene.
The reasons for the increase are standard, but no less painful for citizens: rising fuel prices, increased cost of spare parts, and general inflationary processes.
Recall that a new round of fare increases in the region became known back on December 25. From January 1, fares on trolleybuses and trams rose to 30 rubles (approx. $0.33 at current rates) (previously — 25), and on key bus routes — to 40 rubles (approx. $0.45 at current rates). Now the list of routes with higher fares is expanding. Read more about the routes and fare increases in our article.
