Snow and ice removal neglected in Kurkino District
Numerous violations of legislation on road maintenance and territory improvement were found in Kurkino. This was reported by the press service of the Tula Region prosecutor«s office.
Following a prosecutor«s inspection, it was revealed that the administration of Kurkino District did not take sufficient measures for the timely removal of snow and ice from the territory. Specifically, accumulations of snow were found in the following areas:
public transport stops;
squares and parks;
pedestrian pathways;
public roads.
Additionally, delays in garbage removal from populated areas were discovered. Moreover, the roads were not treated with anti-icing materials.
The prosecutor«s office issued a submission to the head of the district demanding the elimination of the identified violations. The fulfillment of the requirements is under the control of the authority.
