Ryazan-South trains cancelled, rescheduled after derailment

Passengers of canceled trains will receive refunds.
Several trains from Ryazan have been rescheduled and some completely cancelled on 5 February. According to Russian Railways (RZD), the aftermath of a freight car derailment and gasoline fire is still being cleared at Kočetovka-2 station in Tambov Region.
Two trains passing through Ryazan on 5 February have been cancelled:
Train No. 738 Moscow — Voronezh;
Train No. 739 Voronezh — Moscow.
«To optimize the schedule and quickly bring trains back on track,» RZD explained the cancellations.
But residents of Ryazan will be able to use other trains bound for Voronezh. Passengers will get their money back for tickets: if they bought online, the refund will be processed automatically within seven days.
«If tickets were purchased for cash, to apply for a refund you need to contact the ticket offices of the Federal Passenger Company (FPK),» RZD added.
Several trains passing through Ryazan on 5 February will depart about six hours later than usual:
Train No. 382 Moscow — Grozny — departure not earlier than 21:00 instead of 15:34 (from the capital);
Train No. 12 Moscow — Anapa — departure not earlier than 18:00 instead of 10:50 (from the capital).
Passengers will be notified of changes by SMS.
Passengers of other Ryazan trains that are delayed by more than four hours are provided with meals.
