Ryazan residents complain as bus No. 20 skips stops
City officials have pledged to investigate the bus service after receiving complaints from residents.
In the comments on social media of Governor Pavel Malkov, a Ryazan woman complained that the driver of bus No. 20 passed by a stop, even though it wasn«t very late yet:
«Once again, from the stop »Microdistrict 1« at the scheduled time of 5:18 PM, bus 20 did not come. The display shows that it left on schedule, but the driver passes by stops with the sign »To Depot« turned on. And this is not the first time. I needed to go to work. Outside, it»s 19 degrees below zero Celsius (about -2°F).«
In response, the city administration explained to the woman that after the end of their work shift, some drivers go to the depot and do not pick up passengers.
«Additionally, employees will check the operation of buses at the time you specified. Buses follow the schedule strictly, deviations are possible in case of traffic jams or accidents on the route,» clarified the city hall.
