Ryazan Bans Left Turns at Six Intersections for Safety
Authorities in Ryazan have prohibited left turns at six specific intersections following a series of accidents, aiming to improve road safety.

At a meeting of the committee on housing and communal services and urban infrastructure development, the cancellation of left turns was justified at the following intersections:
- Tsiolkovskogo — Elektrozavodskaya
- Zatinnaya — Yesenina
- Yesenina — Oksky Proyezd
- Pervomaysky Prospekt — Pavlova
- Kremlevsky Val — Posadsky Pereulok
As explained at the meeting, the ban on left turns was introduced due to the large number of traffic accidents at these sections, where people were injured or killed. This was reported by the Ryazan City Duma.
«To eliminate the concentration of road traffic accidents in the specified places and ensure road safety, a ban on left turns has been introduced,» clarified the Duma.
