In Nizhnevartovsk, traffic on the «Running Doe» interchange, which leads to the road to Izluchinsk, will be completely closed from February 1. These measures are being implemented due to major repairs on the bridge over the railway tracks.

The authority has scheduled the shutdown for extensive bridge maintenance starting in February.

“For the period of work on the major repair of the overpass across the railway, which is under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Budgetary Institution «Road Management and Improvement Department» of Nizhnevartovsk (MBU UPDKhiB), traffic on the road «Two-level transport interchange at the intersection of the roads Nizhnevartovsk – Izluchinsk and the Eastern Bypass of Nizhnevartovsk» will be closed from February 1, 2026,” reports the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Road Management Department.

The timeline for the repairs has not been specified. Drivers are asked to plan their routes in advance, choosing detour paths.

Recently, the authorities of Surgut reported which new highways will be built in 2026. The plan includes several large-scale and several small but important projects for the city, including the construction of an extension of Kirtbaya Street.
