On the evening of January 23, snow fell in Rostov-on-Don, leading to the formation of 10-point traffic jams. Roads were slightly snow-covered, which seriously complicated traffic.
Jams formed in various parts of the city. The most affected were the central districts, Western and Northern residential areas, as well as Selmash. A particularly difficult situation developed on Vavilov Street.
Cold weather and snowfall replaced a brief warming in the region. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and, if possible, avoid trips, especially on the M-4 Don highway. Utility services have been put on high alert.
