Roads Closed Near Russian Government Building in Moscow
Moscow's Department of Transport has temporarily closed several road sections near the Government building on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes via Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Zvenigorodskoye Highway.

In central Moscow, traffic was temporarily blocked on several road sections near the building of the Government of Russia, the Moscow Department of Transport reported.

Access is blocked on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment near building 2/1, as well as at the intersection of the embankment and 1905 Street. The blocked sections can be bypassed via Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Zvenigorodskoye Highway, the Department of Transport added.
Because of the closures, a traffic jam also formed on Smolenskaya Embankment.
The reasons for the traffic closures have not been specified.
Earlier, roads in Moscow were closed in connection with the arrival of the Syrian president in Russia for negotiations. At that time, the city was stuck in 9-point traffic jams.
