Residents of Krasnoslobodsk complain of awful minibus service to Volgograd

Residents of Krasnoslobodsk, which is cut off from Volgograd, have complained about the terrible service of minibus No. 174. According to them, on weekends in the morning and evening, they have to wait up to 40 minutes in the cold for public transport. Moreover, as townspeople claim, citing drivers, many minibuses have simply broken down.

«I live in Krasnoslobodsk, and the transport service here is terrible. On weekends, minibuses come every 40 minutes. Yesterday, when leaving work from Volgograd, I stood at the stop for 45 minutes. When the minibus arrived, I asked the driver where the other minibuses were. I was told they broke down! Only during the day do they run every 10 minutes, but on weekends, they immediately break down,» readers of V1.RU are outraged. «The minibuses are freezing, always overcrowded. This morning was the same story. It»s impossible to leave the settlement at 7 a.m.; we stood at the stop for 30 minutes. All the stops are packed, people are freezing and are significantly late for work. If the route owner can«t handle his subordinate drivers, they should cancel the route and start buses. Otherwise, they can drop off passengers for a shortage of 10 rubles ($0.10 at current rates), but when it comes to running on time, the vehicles immediately break down.»

Recall that residents of Krasnoslobodsk complained about the problem with route No. 174 back in February of last year. Then passengers were left without route No. 174 due to the owner«s death and were cut off from Volgograd. Officials assured that minibuses run on schedule, and said nothing about launching buses. According to them, residents have many options for getting to and from Volgograd.
