Reserve plane ends Krasnoyarsk-Phu Quoc flight delay

A reserve Boeing 767 was sent from Perm to Krasnoyarsk to replace the broken aircraft.
The flight to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc from Krasnoyarsk is now scheduled for 02:30 on February 5. The flight has been delayed for over a day, according to the airport«s online board.
The Boeing 767 that was supposed to transport passengers from Krasnoyarsk to the island is still being repaired, and the flight will be operated using a different reserve aircraft.
The reserve plane will arrive from Perm closer to 1 AM and then take passengers to the island at 2:30 AM. According to the online board, this aircraft (B-767-300(wl) — Editor«s note) had originally been delayed on Phu Quoc, but it managed to depart ahead of the broken one.
«We ask passengers of flight ZF-2671 to follow the instructions of airline representatives and ground staff of Krasnoyarsk International Airport. The airline will provide all services in accordance with Federal regulations,» said representatives of Azur Air, the operating airline.
In addition, another flight to the island appeared on the Krasnoyarsk airport«s online board, scheduled for 21:40, and check-in is already underway. Passengers will fly on a different aircraft — a B-757-200. A correspondent from NGS24.RU contacted the airline for clarification on why this happened.
Updated: Azur Air explained why:
«The fact is that flight 2673 is operated on a Boeing 757 aircraft. Flights operated on these aircraft depart on schedule; the program has not been adjusted,» they said.
This is not the first incident with Azur Air aircraft since the beginning of the year. Earlier, the same plane made two emergency landings due to engine problems: on January 23, a Phuket-Barnaul flight made an emergency landing in China, and on January 28, a Nha Trang-Irkutsk flight landed in Hanoi.
That aircraft has been withdrawn from service. As a result, from February 19, Azur Air will reduce charters to Phuket from Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk.
