Planned Adjustment: M-4 Don Highway Tolls May Rise

Annual increases in tariffs for travel on the M-4 Don highway are provided for, but the exact date for the change in cost is not yet known. This follows from a statement by the press service of Avtodor.

«To date, the procedure for indexing tariffs has not yet been carried out. The planned annual adjustment of the cost is indeed provided to ensure a high level of operation and development of road infrastructure,» the statement says.

Moreover, tariffs can only be increased «after a number of established procedures are conducted.» And this can take a very long time.

«The company does not plan to raise tariffs until all necessary regulatory measures are completed,» added Avtodor.

Earlier it was reported that on the M-4 Don highway in the Shakhty area, the traffic pattern will change.
