Perm to Extend Tram Route No. 7 in February, But Temporarily Remove Route No. 3

In Perm, tram traffic will be enhanced on Dzerzhinsky and Stroitely streets, reports the transport department. Tram route No. 7 will be extended, and No. 3 will cease operation.

From February 2, tram route No. 7 will be temporarily extended to the «Krasny Oktyabr» stop — it will become its terminus. The stop at «Stantsiya Perm II» will remain, say the transport department. Also, the department clarifies that tram No. 3 will temporarily stop running. Its cars will be redirected to route No. 7.

The transport department adds that tram No. 3 is not being removed permanently. It is intended to be extended from the «Krasny Oktyabr» stop to «Velta» along Revolyutsii Street.
