Sosnin documented his inspection tour of Perm«s roads with a video recorded from his car.

The city head planned his trip based on complaints from Perm residents on social media. On Plekhanov Street, where the mayor began his inspection, the roads were cleared. He also saw the result of the utility workers« efforts on Ural Street.
“In Motovilikha, Artyom Street is cleared, but there are problems with driveways and approaches to bus stops. We will draw the contractors« attention to this,” said Eduard Sosnin.
The head of Perm separately noted the need for adding grit to descents and ascents on the roads so that buses and cars don«t skid. Sosnin stated that the heaviest snowfall in a quarter of a century does not relieve the contractors of responsibility.
“The main highways and roads are cleared, but there is still much to haul away and clean up, especially sidewalks and approaches to stops. It«s impossible to remove all the snow from the city at once, but the contractors are making every effort to speed up this work,” the mayor of Perm assured.
Earlier we reported that in Motovilikha, a bus lost a wheel on a road not cleared of snow.
