The departure of flight ZF 2671 from Krasnoyarsk to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc has been delayed for more than 24 hours, according to the online board of Krasnoyarsk Airport.

Currently, the online board indicates the departure is scheduled for 14:00. However, as a correspondent of NGS24.RU was told, specialists are still fixing a technical fault with the aircraft.

Krasnoyarsk residents will finally be able to reach the Vietnamese island after a day — how the airline solved the problem

Recall that the Krasnoyarsk–Phu Quoc flight operated by Azur Air carries 335 passengers. The flight was supposed to depart for the Vietnamese island on 3 February at 04:00, but passengers still remain in Krasnoyarsk. Those who needed accommodation were placed in a hotel.

In addition, the return flight from Phu Quoc to Krasnoyarsk is also delayed. The B-767-300(wl) aircraft was scheduled to land in Krasnoyarsk at 02:50, but now the flight has been postponed to 17:30.

Furthermore, as clarified by the Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights and Human Wellbeing), they are monitoring compliance with the rights of passengers on both flights. The situation is also under the control of the Krasnoyarsk Transport Prosecutor«s Office.

This is not the first incident with Azur Air aircraft since the beginning of the year. Earlier, the same airline plane had to land twice due to engine problems: on 23 January, a Phuket–Barnaul flight made an emergency landing in China; on 28 January, a Nha Trang–Irkutsk flight landed in Hanoi.

That aircraft was taken out of service. As a result, Azur Air will cut charter flights to Phuket from Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk starting 19 February.
