Omsk Woman Stranded as Trolleybuses Ignore Stop in Freezing Cold
Residents of Omsk were unable to reach the city center on January 23 after multiple trolleybuses failed to stop at a bus stop in sub-zero temperatures.

Public transport issues have arisen again in Omsk. In comments on Governor Vitaly Khotsenko«s post, a local resident reported that on the morning of January 23, she was unable to travel from the Left Bank to the city center: five trolleybuses passed by the Lesnoy Proyezd stop without stopping.
“It«s minus 30 degrees Celsius (-22°F) outside, from 6:45 to 6:56, five trolleybuses passed by the Lesnoy Proyezd stop, completely empty, with conductors sitting inside who didn»t stop at the stop. How is one supposed to leave?”
The city administration stated that according to their data, trolleybuses were indeed following their routes and picking up passengers, and one of them did not stop due to a technical fault.
At 6:48, trolleybus route No. 16 passed by with passenger pick-up. At 6:48, trolleybus route No. 7m passed by without picking up passengers due to a technical fault. At 6:53, a trolleybus passed by on route No. 7m to the Zelyonaya Reka microdistrict. At 6:50, trolleybus route No. 8 passed by with passenger pick-up.
The mayor«s office will forward the complaint to the transport company for additional driver training.
