Malinovskaya School in the Tyukalinsky District has been banned from transporting children by bus. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the Omsk Region.
In May, a 12-year-old student of this institution died in a road accident on the Tyumen – Omsk highway. Nine other people were injured. The children were returning from volleyball and football competitions in Tyukalinsk when the school Gazelle collided with a heavy truck.
After the tragedy, law enforcement conducted an inspection at the educational institution. It turned out that the vehicle used to transport students was not included in the license registry. Also, the school employee responsible for road safety had not undergone mandatory certification, waybills were issued with violations, drivers« medical examinations were performed only formally, no analysis of accidents and traffic violations was carried out, and satellite navigation equipment was not connected to the Gazelle.
The school principal admitted guilt. All violations must now be corrected, and the bus is currently not in use at the institution.
