Omsk City Hall Explains Public Transport Gripes

The transport department of NGS55.RU has named the main reasons why Omsk residents complain about public transport operation. There are two — long waiting for buses at stops and improper behavior of drivers or conductors.

«The main reasons for incoming complaints are the long waiting for public transport at stops, as well as improper behavior of drivers/conductors.»

To such carriers, as noted in the department, claims are sent and fines are issued.

«In case of improper fulfillment of obligations provided for by municipal contracts, carriers are sent claims and demands for payment of fines due to non-compliance with the consolidated schedule and discrepancy between the actual number of vehicles released on routes and the number of vehicles provided for by municipal contracts.»
