In Novosibirsk, trolleybus №24, which runs from the «Stanislavsky» residential area to the «Severnaya Korona» housing complex, has been arriving with delays. According to NGS readers, the situation has been ongoing for over a month.

Today, January 26, a local resident waited for trolleybus №24 at the «Vitaly Tsymanovsky Street» stop from 06:45 to 07:15. The trolleybus did not arrive for half an hour.

‘Previously, trolleybuses ran at 7-minute intervals. There were no problems. Out of curiosity, I checked route №28 — the situation is the same. I was forced to take a taxi to avoid being late for work in the center. The price was as if I was traveling to the region,’ the Novosibirsk resident complained.

According to the man, it is difficult to get from the Rodniki microdistrict to the center on any other public transport.

NGS readers reported that they have also encountered problems with trolleybus №24. For instance, Siberian woman Olga waited for the trolleybus today, January 26, from 08:10 to 08:40 at the «Planovaya» stop. Another Novosibirsk resident, Ilya, waited significantly less yesterday — 15 minutes.

One of the microdistrict residents, Olga, filed a complaint via «Gosuslugi. Reshaem Vmeste» in late December. She received a response that on December 26, 17 vehicles were operating on the line with 30-minute intervals. The plan, however, was for 34 trolleybuses. It was explained that the number of trolleybuses on the route decreased due to a shortage of drivers.

‘It should be noted that the actual road conditions along the route negatively affect the regularity of service. There have been repeated disruptions in the operation of public passenger transport on various routes due to adverse weather conditions with heavy precipitation,’ was added in the response (available to NGS).

An NGS correspondent has sent a request to the Novosibirsk mayor«s office to obtain a comment on the situation.

Since December 18, a ban on involving foreign citizens in driving public transport has been in effect in the Novosibirsk region. The mayor«s office reported how many drivers have been suspended from work.
