Novokuznetsk to Repair 12 Road Sections in 2026

Road workers will renovate about 25 kilometers of roads in Novokuznetsk using federal budget funds. The southern capital has found five companies for this, city mayor Denis Ilyin said Wednesday, February 4, on social media.
The repair list includes 12 sections. They will be renovated under the «Regional and Local Road Network» project, with funding from the federal center.
During the summer season, three roads in the Central District will be repaired:
A. Kuznetsov Street (Druzhby Ave. – Tsiolkovsky St.)
Nogradskaya Street (Stroiteley Ave., 82 – Pavlovsky St., 29, transport interchange)
Ermakov Avenue, even side (Togliatti St. – Pavlovsky St.)
In Kuybyshevsky District, work is planned on three sections:
Listvyanskoye Highway (Lesnaya St. – Kubinskaya St.)
Kuybysheva Street (Kurako Ave. – Rudokoprovaya St.), including the bridge
375th km Street (Tushinskaya St. – Lesnaya St.)
In Kuznetsky District, repairs will take place on Narodnaya Street (Dostoevsky St. – Obnorsky St.). In Novoilyinsky District — on Kosygina Street (Ilyinskoye Highway – Kosygina St. ring road, 61).
In Zavodskoy District, two roads will be renovated:
Promstroyevskaya Street
Zavodskoye Highway (Poymennoye Highway – entrance to the 40 Let VLKSM Street area)
In Ordzhonikidzevsky District:
Feskovskaya Street (Kolyvanskaya St. – Baydayevskoye Highway)
Baydayevskoye Highway (Feskovskaya St. – Kuznetskoye Highway)
At the end of last year, the mayor wrote, contracts were signed with five companies, but he did not specify the total amount.
According to the city budget, 239.8 million rubles (about $2.7 million at current rates) were to be spent on this federal program last year. In 2026, it was originally planned to allocate 1 billion 79 million rubles (about $12.0 million at current rates), but after amendments to the project, the amount decreased by 70 million rubles (about $778,000 at current rates).
In 2027, experts expect that 1 billion 476 million rubles (about $16.4 million at current rates) will be allocated for repairs under this project.
