«We’ve already been waiting almost 30 minutes. We can’t get to Moscow at all, on the Fryazevo–Moscow, Yaroslavl direction,» complains Irina.

«Also, on the Paveletsky direction towards Moscow, there hasn’t been a single electric train for 30 minutes,» writes Ekaterina.

At other stations, passengers were barely able to squeeze into the trains.

«If hell exists on earth, this is it: Reutov station, the train that left from Zheleznodorozhnaya at 08:00,» wrote Maria, who filmed a video of the departing Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) train.

The previous evening in the Kirov region, freight cars derailed, causing several trains to Moscow to be delayed.
