New Trolleybuses Delivered to Yekaterinburg from Ufa
The first low-floor trolleybuses of the 'Gorozhanin' model have already arrived at the depot and will soon be put into service on city routes.

Ordzhonikidzevskoe depot in Yekaterinburg has received the first batch of low-floor trolleybuses manufactured by the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant. By the end of March 2026, the city expects the delivery of 48 more similar vehicles.

The «Gorozhanin» model is built using bodies from the MAZ-203 bus family.
On autonomous power, such trolleybuses can travel up to 40 kilometers. Their passenger capacity reaches 100 people, including up to 34 seats.
Previously, «Gorozhanin» was not used for regular transport in Yekaterinburg, but only underwent test trials. Which specific routes will be served by the new trolleybuses has not yet been announced.
Already on the morning of February 1, the first trolleybus of this model entered the line in the ZhBI area — this is route No. 25. The vehicle operates on internal batteries that provide autonomous running, so it does not depend on the contact network.
Trolleybus route No. 25 replaced the cancelled bus route with the same number, which ran from the University Technopark through the center to the Mega shopping center. The previous trolleybus route No. 25, which connected the Botanika and Vtuzgorodok areas, was also abolished.
