New stop added on Nizhny Novgorod train route
Gorky Railway will introduce a new stop on the Nizhny Novgorod suburban train route from February 9.

Gorky Railway will introduce an additional stop at Yoganets platform (392nd kilometer) for the electric train connecting Gorokhovets, Vladimir Region, with Nizhny Novgorod. The change takes effect on 9 February, the railway«s press service reported.

Train No. 6334, departing at 19:04 and arriving at 20:26, will stop at the platform at 19:30. The new stop is located within Volodarsk city limits, near the highway of the same name.
Late last year, Gorky Railway head Sergei Dorofeyevsky commented at a press conference on plans to build a high-speed rail line between Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kazan.
According to him, work is currently underway on the line between the capital and St. Petersburg. Dorofeyevsky said, “This is an important project, and everything else will be built from it.” After that, the issue of other routes will be resolved.
