New Moscow-Adler Trains Offer Tickets from 6000 Rubles

Starting July 23, new Moscow-Adler trains will add 650 seats, with a travel time of 1 day 18 hours and tickets from 6,000 rubles ($67).

From July 23, new passenger trains will be launched from Moscow to Adler, the press service of the Krasnodar Krai administration reported. An additional 650 seats will be added to existing routes with the Tavria trainset.

The first such train was also launched in mid-July. The trainset includes compartment and second-class single-deck cars with air conditioning. From July 18 with departure from Adler and from July 20 with departure from Moscow, the service became daily. The train passes through Krasnodar, Tuapse, and Sochi.

Ticket prices start from 6,000 rubles ($67) one way, and the travel time is 1 day and 18 hours. A compartment seat costs 11,000 rubles ($122).

Previously, a new train by Grand Service Express company was launched between St. Petersburg and Anapa, passing through Moscow, Voronezh, and Rostov-on-Don. A second-class ticket from Anapa to St. Petersburg costs 7,800 rubles ($87), and a compartment ticket 14,000 rubles ($156). The price for a ticket in the opposite direction is the same.
