Minibus route 46 vanishes in Samara: what happened

Samara residents continue to ask Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev questions that concern them. Under another post by the regional head, Lyudmila Nesterova spoke about the problem.
«Transport Department, when can we expect the resumption of minibus route 46 on the streets of Samara?» the woman asked.
Minibus route 46 runs from the Avrora bus station to Revolution Square, operating on unregulated tariffs.
Transportation was carried out by LLC «Reis», registered in Novokuybyshevsk. Director Nurzhan Mukhambetov was appointed in September 2023. The founders are three individuals: Andrey Sofronov (64.5% share), Mikhail Mikhalyukov, and Filipp Zykov (17.8% each).
The Samara Transport Department conducted an inspection and found that route 46 has stopped operating in the city and annulled the transportation license. A tender has been launched to find a contractor. The prosecutor«s office issued a ruling against the head of the transport department due to inaction in monitoring regular transportation.
Lyudmila Nesterova received a response from representatives of the transport department.
«Currently, lawyers are handling the issue of conducting tender procedures. To hold an auction in accordance with Federal Law No. 220, the carrier has been sent a proposal to temporarily resume operation of route 46 until a new contractor is selected,» the department«s press service wrote.
On 26 January, the mayor of Samara announced that the city will soon completely abandon minibuses. They will be replaced by «modern comfortable buses». We reported on the situation with minibuses in the regional capital and whether a transport collapse threatens if they are abandoned.
