A major disruption in train traffic occurred on MCD-4 (Moscow Central Diameters line 4). According to passengers, there is no movement of commuter trains on the section between Nizhegorodskaya and Reutov on the second track toward Zheleznodorozhnaya.
Passengers are being warned about the train disruption on MCD-4 as delays mount.

“We stopped 20 minutes ago. We are waiting for a diesel locomotive to pull us to Kuskovo station. Good thing the lights and heating are working in the carriage,” passenger Filipp told MSK1.RU.

“We’ve been traveling 40 minutes from Kurskaya to Chukhlinka. At Chukhlinka, they said they will disembark us…” a reader of MSK1.RU, Irina, shared.
Information about the disruption has already appeared on Yandex Timetables. Passengers are being warned of possible delays. Meanwhile, crowds began to form on the platforms.
“Trains may run on track 4 skipping stops. Delays in electric trains to Zheleznodorozhnaya and back on the turnaround are expected, as well as route reductions and unscheduled cancellations,” the announcement read.
According to passengers, the disruption was caused by a fire in one of the carriages. The press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD) reported that train No. 6806 from Lesnoy Gorodok – Zakharovo stopped due to “technical reasons.”
“During the rescue operation, traffic is organized on adjacent tracks. The Moscow Railway apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience and is taking measures to restore normal service,” a press service representative commented.
