Massive traffic jam near Krasnoyarsk traps vehicles for hours
A «strange» traffic jam formed on the R-255 highway near the Zeledeevo ring towards Achinsk, according to a reader of NGS24.RU who has been stuck in it for almost two hours.
He sent a photo showing that both trucks and passenger cars are stuck in the jam.
Updated. On the R-255 highway around noon, a truck crashed into a barrier, the traffic police press service told NGS24.RU. The vehicle broke down, and the trailer blocked the road. There are no casualties in the accident, and all obstacles have been removed from the roadway.
Users of 2GIS who are stuck on the road are also writing about the jam in the comments. They also can«t understand what caused the congestion. Later, a mark about an accident appeared there:
«They»re pulling the car out,« a user briefly wrote.
Then another commenter wrote about the accident:
«The traffic police are alternately blocking the road so that trucks can climb the hill.»
However, the 2GIS map shows that the situation on the highway is normal — at least there are no red or burgundy sections. But on the «Yandex Traffic» service, the road is colored burgundy near the turn to Zeledeevo, as well as closer to the point where, as a 2GIS user indicated, the accident occurred.
According to the service, traffic is hampered for at least 15 kilometers on the R-255 road.
