M-4 Don Traffic Pattern to Change Near Shakhty
At the 1001st kilometer of the M-4 «Don» highway, the traffic pattern will change from February 10, 2026, announced the press service of «Avtodor». A flyover is being reconstructed there.
«In the area of the existing transport interchange at the 1001st kilometer, traffic will be organized via a roundabout intersection of roads during the work period,» reported «Avtodor».
Since May 2025, reconstruction has been underway on the highway section from the 933rd to the 1024th kilometer — from Kamensk-Shakhtinsky to the bypass of Aksay. The repairs will be completed in 2027. Nearly 100 kilometers of the road will be widened from four to six lanes, and passage on this section of the highway will become toll. «Avtodor» explained how it can be bypassed for free.
