List of Vladivostok's Most Accident-Prone Road Sections

The most accident-prone sections on Vladivostok«s roads in 2025 were several places, including parts of Okeansky Prospect and Prospect of the 100th Anniversary of Vladivostok. According to the service »Mobilitika«, accidents on these sections occurred with deaths or injuries more than twice.

Mostly, all accidents occurred after midnight, on straight roads or turns, including collisions with obstacles. On the Prospect of the 100th Anniversary, there was a fatal accident with injuries; 2 people were injured and 2 died.

On Svetlanskaya Street, near the Golden Bridge, the concentration of accidents is also high: 1 person died, 2 were injured in an accident from April 20. In the Gogol area, a car veered off the road, with one fatal accident recorded. Another is recorded in the Katerny area, likely the accident involving the roadside cafe «Eda i Tochka» (Food and Point), which occurred in November 2025. A cafe employee died in the accident.

Also noted is an accident with two fatalities and two injuries in August in the area of the turn to the village of Kanal on Russky Island.

These sections, even without fatalities, turned out to be dangerous enough and made it to the list of accident-prone areas. Throughout the year, 2 to 10 accidents of various types occurred on them within 100-300 meters. It is difficult to pinpoint the causes of accidents; likely, straight open roads play a role, where drivers in Vladivostok often exceed the speed limit.

We also found out which intersections were dangerous in 2025. It turned out that there are six such intersections in the city: accidents occur most often on these sections, and they are of various types with injuries.
