The final overpass of the large interchange near Kalina, located between two new overpasses, will open in fall 2026. This was reported to E1.RU by the First Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg, Rustam Galyamov. Currently, the facility has a high degree of readiness.

«I think that in September we will finish it and launch traffic as provided for by the project,» noted Rustam Galyamov.
The construction of the lower bridge is the fifth stage of the mega interchange«s construction. According to the designers» plan, it will provide a connection between Sibirsky Trakt and Komsomolskaya Street.
The entire mega interchange will be completed by the end of 2026. After the opening of the lower bridge, contractors will be engaged in landscaping elements, but this will not affect traffic. According to Rustam Galyamov, the most complex work related to utility networks at the facility has been fully completed.
