The weather in Bashkiria has posed a serious challenge for drivers today, with temporary traffic restrictions imposed on the M-5 «Ural» federal highway due to sharply reduced visibility and icy conditions.

The passage is completely closed for trucks and buses on the section from kilometer 1194 to 1360. This means traffic is halted on the segment from the village of Novoye Usmanovo in Samara Region to the village of Starye Bogady in Bashkiria. Passenger cars are also advised to avoid this highway as the road situation remains dangerous.

According to the GIBDD (State Traffic Inspectorate), the restrictions will be in effect until 14:00 today, but adjustments may be made depending on the weather.

Drivers are urged to plan their routes in advance, consider the imposed restrictions, and strictly comply with traffic signs. If possible, they should refrain from traveling until weather conditions improve.

Recall that recently, a minibus with passengers was involved in an accident on the M-5 highway — the driver died, and three more people were hospitalized with injuries.

In addition, we reported on the story of a mother whose 11-year-old son was in a traffic accident. The mother of many children is accused of false reporting — villagers have declared a «hunt» on her family. Audio recordings and messages with discussions about plans to «wipe out the whole family» and other case details can be found in our article.
