Kuzbass Residents' Top Destinations in 2025: Moscow and Sochi

The A.A. Leonov International Airport in Kemerovo summarized its 2025 results. The airport«s press service reported on Saturday, January 24, that over the year, 458,192 people used the airport»s services and 2,228 departures were carried out, but this is still 2.8% less than the previous year.
The most popular destinations for passengers remained Moscow, with 238,000 people transported, St. Petersburg, with 52,000 passengers, and in third place was Sochi with 48,000 airport customers. In addition, regular flights were operated to Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Kazan, and Yekaterinburg. Ulan-Ude became a new destination in 2025.
However, Konstantin Furyaev, head of the Siberian cluster of the Novaport holding, stated that according to 2025 results, only two out of seven airports failed to increase traffic. These are the Kemerovo airport, where passenger numbers fell by 2.8%, and the Tomsk airport, with a 4% decrease.
In 2024, by comparison, 507,000 people flew via Kemerovo airport, and 2,400 flights were serviced.
