Kurgan's only night bus stops running
The night bus No. 55 of KurganGorTrans no longer runs in Kurgan.
In Kurgan, the only night bus that ran until 1:30 AM has been canceled and no longer operates on its route. Residents constantly face the problem of getting home after 10 PM. They posted a question about the night bus operation on the «Obratis» (citizen feedback portal).
«The carrier conducted monitoring of bus operations during late hours, based on which a decision was made to refuse additional trips,» reported the Department for Urban Development of the Kurgan City Administration in response to the residents« appeal.
The night bus of the carrier OOO «KurganGorTrans» started running on March 8 this year. In the «Soyuz Transportnykh Organizatsii» (Union of Transport Organizations) group, residents chose a route for night trips. As a result, bus No. 55 «Boulevard Solnechny — 1st Microdistrict» received 25.59% of votes in the voting. A total of 5,530 people participated in the voting for the proposed routes.
