Kurgan governor details road plans for this year

The governor said that changes will affect Zorge Street, where accidents on utility networks constantly occur. A complete overhaul of networks and the road is planned over two years.

Additionally, along with the repair of courtyards on Constitution Avenue, authorities are considering the possibility of updating the utility networks and the roadway of the avenue itself.

Zaozyorny (large residential district)

In the city«s largest district — Zaozyorny — construction of Pervomaisky Prospekt will continue from Farafonova Street to Mironova Street in the Levashovo microdistrict. Andrei Mironov Street is currently being designed. Mal»tseva Prospekt, which also runs through this street, is planned to be completed up to Sodruzhestva Street in Levashovo.

On the other side of Zaozyorny, the design of the lower sections of Mal«tseva and Pervomaisky Prospekts from Vitebskogo Street to Lake Chyornoye, where an embankment is currently being built, is being finalized. Also this year, the next section of Vitebskogo Street will be repaired.

The governor also noted that city authorities are finishing the reconstruction of the main sewage pumping station in Zaozyorny. And 500 million rubles ($5 million at current rates) are being allocated for the construction of storm drainage along Farafonova and Yeliseyeva streets.
