Kuibyshev Railway announces spring thematic train tours from Samara

The Kuibyshev Railway (KbzhD) has published the schedule for spring thematic railway tours from Samara. The trips will take place as part of the «Bright Weekends» and «Knowledge Car» projects.

«In March, the following tours are planned: March 20 and 31 — the hero city of Volgograd, to sites of military glory; March 27 — to Kolomna or Moscow; March 27 (and April 24) — literary routes to Ryazan (Konstantinovo) and Penza (Tarkhany),» the Kuibyshev Railway said.

The schedule for April and May includes the following trips:

April 3 — Russia«s Golden Ring — Yaroslavl, Rostov Veliky, Uglich, Rybinsk, and Kostroma;

April 17 — Kazan or Yoshkar-Ola;

May 1 — the season«s new offering — a trip to Tver, to the city of military glory Rzhev,

on these same dates you can also visit Yekaterinburg;

May 15 — Zlatoust and Chelyabinsk.

Tour prices start from 17,990 rubles (about $180 at current rates) for a child under 10 and from 22,990 rubles (about $230 at current rates) for an adult. The cost includes travel, transfers, meals, and excursions. Prices vary depending on the destination. More detailed information can be obtained at the Service Center of the Kuibyshev Railway Agency and on the Kuibyshev Railway«s website.
