Irkutsk-Bodaibo flight aborted due to technical issue

In Irkutsk, investigators are looking into the circumstances of an aviation incident that occurred on the morning of 4 February. According to preliminary data, the aircraft operating flight Irkutsk–Bodaibo (Irkutsk Oblast) experienced technical problems while taxiing onto the runway, reported the Telegram channel of the Transport Investigative Committee.
The aircraft commander, after coordinating with ground services, decided not to continue the takeoff and returned the aircraft to the departure airport. The plane safely returned to the parking area. No injuries.
Judging by the tail number, the aircraft belongs to UTair airline. It has been in service since 10 November 2011, that is, more than 14 years. Its first flight took place in October of that same year, 2011.
Currently, the Irkutsk Transport Investigative Department is conducting a pre-investigation check under an article on violation of traffic safety rules and operation of air transport. Specialists are determining the causes of the incident.
