Irkutsk Airport Comments on St. Petersburg Flight Diversion
Irkutsk Airport stated that a Rossiya Airlines flight from St. Petersburg diverted to Krasnoyarsk but has now arrived in Irkutsk, with no adverse weather reported at the airport.

Irkutsk Airport commented on the delay of flight FV6001 operated by Rossiya Airlines, which was traveling this morning from St. Petersburg to the capital of the Angara region. The airliner diverted to an alternate airport in Krasnoyarsk. Our colleagues at NGS24.RU noted that this happened due to unfavorable weather conditions in Irkutsk.
According to the airport press service, Irkutsk Airport was operating normally this morning.
«Aircraft were taking off and landing according to schedule, and no adverse meteorological conditions were recorded. The decision to divert to an alternate airport was made by the aircraft commander,» the airport«s official Telegram channel stated.
All delays in the schedule observed by IrAero Airlines are solely related to weather conditions at northern airports.
The online board of Irkutsk Airport indicates that the flight from St. Petersburg has already arrived in Irkutsk after an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk. The aircraft landed at 12:16 local time.
