Hockey Matches to Alter Transport Routes in Yekaterinburg

The Hockey All-Star Week in Yekaterinburg from 6 to 8 February will lead to temporary traffic restrictions near the UMMC Arena.

Traffic will be closed during the following hours:

• 6 February from 14:30 to 22:00;
• 7 and 8 February from 10:30 to 19:30.

During these times, restrictions will apply to the following streets:

• Decembrists Street from Chapayev Street to 8 March Street;
• Stepan Razin Street from Bolshakov Street to Narodnoy Voli Street;
• Narodnoy Voli Street from Stepan Razin Street to 8 March Street.

Parking will also be prohibited on the indicated sections.

Due to the closures, public transport routes will change:

• Bus No. 74 (to the Gromova stop) and No. 76 (to the MEGA shopping center) will run along Decembrists Street — Chapayev Street — Bolshakov Street, with temporary cancellation of the stop «Akademia pri Prezidente Rossii» and the introduction of stops «Chapayeva» and «Dom-muzey P. Bazhova».
• Bus No. 86 (to «Roschinskaya») will follow Rosa Luxemburg Street — Kuibyshev Street — 8 March Street, without stopping at the «Sandunovskie Bani» stop.

Earlier in Yekaterinburg, new municipal contracts came into force, which have already led to changes in the city«s route network. For example, in the ZhBI residential area, trolleybuses with autonomous running have started operating for the first time.
