Hockey Matches Force Route Changes in Yekaterinburg

In Yekaterinburg, due to the Hockey Stars Week (February 6, 7, and 8), traffic will be blocked on a number of streets near UGMK-Arena. Because of this, the public transport routes will be changed.

On February 6 from 14:30 to 22:00, and on February 7 and 8 from 10:30 to 19:30, traffic will be restricted on the following streets:

on Decembrists Street, from Chapayev to 8th March;

on Stepan Razin Street, from Bolshakov to Narodnaya Volya;

on Narodnaya Volya Street, from Stepan Razin to 8th March.

Parking on these sections will be prohibited.

Also during this period, the public transport routes will be changed:

bus No. 74 (when heading to the final stop «Gromova») and bus No. 76 (when heading to the final stop «TC MEGA») will be directed along the streets: Decembrists — Chapayev — Bolshakov — then along the route. Temporarily, the stop «Academy under the President of Russia» will be canceled, and stops «Chapayev» and «P. Bazhov House-Museum» will be introduced;

bus No. 86 (when heading to the final stop «Roshchinskaya») will be directed along the streets: Roza Luxemburg — Kuibyshev — 8th March — then along the route. Temporarily, the transport will stop stopping at «Sandunov Baths».

Earlier we reported that new municipal contracts have come into effect in Yekaterinburg. Several city routes were changed. In particular, for the first time in the ZBI district, trolleybuses with autonomous running were launched.
