A major technical failure has been announced at Sochi Airport, temporarily paralyzing its systems. The cause is a global malfunction in the «Astra» check-in software complex (also known as «Sirena-Travel»). This has disrupted the standard process for passenger and baggage check-in, which may lead to flight delays.

«Dear passengers! Due to a global failure in the Astra (Sirena-Travel) check-in system, the possibility of passenger and baggage check-in is temporarily limited. Passenger check-in during the recovery period is being carried out manually,» the airport«s official account reported.

Passengers at Sochi Airport are advised to check their flight status on information boards and with airline representatives.
