From February 2 to 5, training emergency rescue drills are being held at Sochi airport, according to the air harbor«s press service.
During the full-scale exercises, rescuers will practice firefighting and evacuation skills. Special equipment will be used to simulate fire for realistic conditions.
— The events will take place with strict adherence to safety measures! On February 3, increased activity of special equipment and the appearance of smoke are possible in the airport area. We ask guests and residents of Sochi not to worry — this is part of the planned training for rescuers, — the message states.
