Flight restrictions lifted at Sochi airport, dozens of flights delayed
Sochi airport has lifted temporary flight restrictions that caused dozens of delays.
Temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft at Sochi airport have been lifted. They were introduced at 19:45 to ensure flight safety and lasted for more than two hours.
During this time, flight delays accumulated. The situation is complicated by the fact that the day before, airport operations were also suspended for six hours, and airlines did not have time to fully restore the regular schedule before the new restrictions were introduced.
