Fatal Accident Causes Massive Traffic Jam on Enthusiasts Highway

On Monday evening, January 26, a multi-kilometer traffic jam stretched along Enthusiasts Highway. Drivers complain that they have been unable to pass for over an hour.

Eyewitnesses report that several accidents occurred on the road at once. According to Yandex Maps, because of this, the traffic jam stretched for more than 5 kilometers.

‘Three corpses on the road,’ reports a driver.

Drivers said that due to a serious accident that occurred on Enthusiasts Highway, several lanes were blocked. According to one eyewitness, the road was barricaded by traffic police, a truck, and a crash participant.

‘They are standing because they are waiting for an investigator, as it is a fatal accident,’ shared an eyewitness.

‘Enough already! The entire Moscow Ring Road is at a standstill because of you,’ complained a driver who has been unable to pass for an hour.

In addition to the multi-kilometer traffic jam on the Moscow Ring Road, drivers cannot pass on the Moscow Ring Road near the entrance to Reutov, as well as on Transportnaya Street, on Pobedy Street.

The press service of the MVD (Ministry of Internal Affairs) for Moscow and the Moscow Region told MSK1.RU that no information about the incident had been received.
