Eyewitnesses are publishing footage from the closed Nizhegorodskaya station of the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). The footage, which has appeared online, shows police cars have converged at the station«s entrance. A sign now hangs on the doors reading: »Station closed. Please use ground-level urban transport.«

According to passengers, the station was closed due to a platform collapse. In a video recorded from a train, one can see that concrete slabs have significantly subsided.

«I passed by Nizhegorodskaya MCC station 10 minutes ago. The train slowed to 10 km/h but did not stop at the platform—this was announced over the loudspeaker even before Andronovka station. There were several police officers on the platform. I didn»t see a collapse, only snow piled up at the ends, but the train stopping area seemed cleared,« a Muscovite reported.
The Department of Transport and the press service of the Moscow Railway explained the station closure as being due to «technical reasons.»
Passengers were advised to use the Bolshaya Koltsevaya (Big Circle) Line and the Nekrasovskaya Line of the metro, as well as the Moscow Central Diameter line MCD-4. It was also noted that buses e70, m7, t63, 51, and 766 run from Taganskaya station, and buses e70 and t63 run from Ryazansky Prospekt station.
