Dozens of Violations Found Again on Nizhny's Route 91

Specialists from the Center for Transport Systems Development inspected the operation of six buses on route No. 91, which connects Chernigovskaya Street and Cherepichny village in Nizhny Novgorod. During the inspection, 65 violations were recorded.
Among the identified shortcomings:
- absence or malfunction of validators on rear platforms;
- failure to display drivers« surnames;
- dirty interiors and external surfaces of vehicles;
- lack of voice announcements for passengers about stops;
- partially non-functional electronic route indicators.
One of the buses lacked a video recorder, and another did not depart on its scheduled trip according to the timetable.
Since the beginning of 2025, the route has been serviced by a new carrier — the company Trans-NN, which will be presented with a claim for penalty collection. Last autumn, the same route was operated by the firm Konka, and during an inspection then, 53 violations were found.
Overall in 2025, transport inspectors have identified more than 8,000 violations in the work of drivers and carriers. The total amount of imposed fines amounted to 2.9 million rubles (approximately $29,000 at current rates).
