Dozens of Bus Routes Permanently Canceled in Omsk Region: Reason Explained

The regional Ministry of Transport told NGS55.RU that in 2025, dozens of routes ceased to exist in Omsk Region. The reason is simple: the presence of alternative and duplicate routes.

Most routes were canceled in intercity communication: the changes affected buses that connect Omsk with remote (and not so remote) villages in the region.

Suburban routes have also been closed. This refers to the cancellation of routes to Krasny Yar, Kharino, and other settlements.
Residents of Omsk should not hope for the return of the plane to Ust-Ishim, canceled almost a year ago. As clarified in the Ministry of Transport, there are no more funds for subsidizing this route.
«Due to the lack of allocations for ensuring the accessibility of transport services, it is not possible to restore air communication to the village of Ust-Ishim in Omsk Region in 2026,» the department reported.
Earlier we reported that a popular bus to Luzino was canceled for Omsk residents.
