On the morning of July 20, on the Dimitrovsky Bridge in Novosibirsk, workers began separating one of the lanes toward the left bank. Equipment is working on the road.

Road workers are installing concrete blocks blocking the middle lane. The reversible traffic has been canceled.

The day before, Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev reported on his VKontakte social media account that the final stage of work is starting on the bridge.

«Central lanes will be closed, and the usual reversible traffic mode will be canceled. Traffic will continue in the standard pattern, but with a narrowing in the center: four lanes will remain for cars — two in each direction,» the publication said.

These measures are needed to complete repairs as quickly as possible and open the bridge before the onset of cold weather.

The final stage is planned to be completed by October 1. More details on the work to be done can be found in the material from NGS.
