In Omsk, the results of a tender to select a contractor to maintain traffic violation recording cameras have been summarized. The Omsk Region Road Management Authority has concluded a contract worth 36.9 million rubles (about $369,000 at current rates) for the installation and maintenance of mobile complexes with LLC «NIC GLONASS». This company was the sole participant in the tender.
LLC «NIC GLONASS» was registered in 2013 in Omsk. The company«s staff consists of two people. Its specialization is data processing services. Revenue for 2024 was 118 million rubles (about $1.18 million at current rates), with a profit of 41 million rubles (about $410,000 at current rates). The founder is Nikolay Vaskovskiy.
According to procurement documents, by mid-December 2026, the contractor will deploy 35 complexes for recording traffic violations on the roads: 33 cameras of the «SKAT-P» and «SKAT-PP» types, as well as two «KORDON-TEMP» complexes. These are the well-known tripod cameras familiar to Omsk residents, which were previously maintained by Cossacks, and then suddenly all complexes disappeared from Omsk highways.
Now the cameras will return to the roads. For their installation, 144 locations have been selected on the main highways of the city and region. Therefore, Omsk residents now need to be more careful on the roads.
Earlier we reported that stationary cameras will be activated on Omsk roads.
